To All Our Garden
Talk Friends
When I hooked up Michael and John to do a radio show
together I don’t think anyone could have imagined the
success they both achieved. A professional landscaper /
designer and a master gardener doing a radio show with a
fresh new topic every week. What a CONCEPT!
The success of Garden Talk Radio has been tremendous and we
owe it all to you, our listeners. After over 100 shows on
two different radio stations Michael and John are taking a
much needed break. As you probably know Michael is the
Director of Operations for Fairview Ponds & Gardens in Fairview,
near Allen, TX and John runs Wells Brothers Farm Store in
Plano, TX. Well the fall gardening season is ahead of both
of them and they both are very busy working for a living.
Because of this, Garden Talk Radio is taking some time off
the airwaves. Last Saturday’s show was their last at 660 AM
K-SKY.
Michael has many upcoming speaking engagements and night
tours of the Garden Design Center and is looking forward to
helping with the St. Judes campaign this year, John will be
continuing with his seminars, speaking engagements, working
with the Master Gardeners Association and running Wells
Brothers Farm Store. Here is the good thing, you can stop by
and see both at their respective stores. Both John and
Michael will still be very active in the community and with
their customers. You can also hear their shows which are
archived on GARDENTALKRADIO.NET where we will continue to
update the website during this brief interim, so check back
often.
What a great year this has been for all of us involved with
Garden Talk Radio. We very much want to thank all of our
listeners and supporters for a wonderful year. Most
importantly, we want to thank our sponsors and encourage you
to continue using their preeminent products. So long for now
and look for Michael and John to show up in the near future.
With Great Appreciation,
Carrie Milstead
